XXI Certamen Nuevas Voces Ciudad de Sevilla

On October 24–25, the semi-final and then the final of the vocal competition took place in Seville. The final gala was held on the main stage of the Teatro de la Maestranza opera house. Paulina was selected as one of the eight finalists.

"La force du destin"

At the end of November, in the beautiful Coquillade Provence hotel in Gargas, Paulina Bielarczyk sang a solo concert. This event took place thanks to the festival Les Musicales du Luberon, in particular a huge thank you to the festival president Mr Patrick Canac. The soloist was accompanied on stage by the wonderful artist and pianist Maciej Pikulski.

G. Verdi - Amelia's scene ‘Ecco l'orrido campo’ from Un ballo di Masquera
Chopin - Nocturne opus posthume en do dièse mineur - piano solo
S. Moniuszko - Halka's aria ‘Ha ! Dzieciątko nam umiera’ from op. Halka
Chopin - Nocturne op. 27 n.2 en re bémol majeur - piano solo
P. Tchaikovsky - Tatiana's letter scene from op. Eugene Onegin
Rachmaninoff - Préludes op.23 n.5 en sol mineur - piano solo
R. Wagner - Elisabeth's aria ‘Dich teure Halle’ from op. Tannhäuser 

At the end, the duo was rewarded with a huge applause, thanks to which as many as two additional pieces were performed as encores.

Johannes Brahms Ein deutsches Requiem op. 45

The soprano solo part sung during the concert with Chorus 116 e.V. (preparation: Christoph Frenzel) and Elbland Philharmonie Sachsen orchestra under the direction of Wolfgang Hentrich at the Himmelfahrtskirche Dresden Leuben.

Finalist and a winner of Gustav Mahler Song Interpretation Prize at the 17th Gabriela Beňačková International Singing Competition 2024 in Jihlava/Czech Republic.


After auditions in the spring, 44 singers were invited to the Semifinal. The competition took place in Jihlava, Czech Republic, from 12-14.10.2024. At the Semifinal, Paulina presented G. Mahler's song Um Mitternacht from the "Rückert-Lieder" cycle and Elisabeth's aria Dich teure Halle from R. Wagner's opera "Tannhäuser". As a finalist, on the second day the committee could hear Wally's aria Ebben ne andrò lontana from the opera "La Wally" by A. Catalani. 

Paulina was awarded the G. Mahler prize for her interpretation of the song.

Concert in Santiago de Compostela/Spain with orchestra Real Filharmonía de Galicia.


In July this year, during a series of summer concerts, Paulina Bielarczyk gave a solo performance at the Church of San Agustín in Santiago de Compostela. Together with the philharmonic orchestra, conducted by Sebastian Zinca, they presented a programme:

  • W. A. Mozart: Idomeneo: Recitativo y aria ‘Padre, germani, addio’
  • J. Sibelius: Vals triste
  • W. A. Mozart: Cossí fan tutte: Recitativo y aria ‘Ei parte, senti... per pieta’
  • A. Beach: Invocation
  • W. A. Mozart: Cossí fan tutte: Recitativo y aria ‘Temerari... come scoglio’
  • G. Verdi: Otello: Aria ‘Ave María’
  • L. v. Beethoven: Sinfonía num. 8 en Fa maior, op. 93 (1º mov.)


"The talented singer Paulina Bielarczyk has left an indelible mark on Santiago de Compostela with her recent performance with the Real Filharmonía de Galicia. (...) 3rd place at the 19th International Robert Schumann Song Competition in Zwickau/Germany. 


Out of 70 duos, the commission awarded third place ex-aequo to soprano Paulina Bielarczyk and her pianist Seulgi Lee. The programme of the song competition presented a varied repertoire, songs and two cycles by R. Schumann, songs by J. Brahms, G. Mahler, F. Schubert, C. Schumann,  H. Wolf.

1st place at the VI Compostela Lirica Opera Competition in Santiago de Compostela/Spain. 


After two days of competition, Paulina Bielarczyk was hailed the winner! It is worth mentioning her competition pianist Ruben Sanches Vieco, who accompanied her in the arias like Elisabeth Dich teure Halle from the op. "Tannhäuser" (R. Wagner), Wally Ebben, ne andrò lontana from the op. "La Wally" (A. Catalani) and Amelia Morro, ma prima in grazia from the op. "Un ballo in maschera" (G. Verdi). Along with first place, Paulina will receive a role in the opera house in Oviedo/Spain, a concert with the Real Filharmonía de Galicia and a recital with pianist Maciej Pikulski during the Les Musicales Du Lubéron festival in France.
